چکیده
Abstract Nitrogen-doped activated carbon (NDAC) was prepared from saw dust/zinc chloride (2:1) by heating under the flow of ammonia gas at 600 °C, 700 and 800 °C tested for Acid Brown 14 (AB14) dye adsorption aquatic solution. The fabricated N-doping carbons (NDACs) were characterized FTIR, TGA, DTA, BET, BJH, MP, t -plot, SEM, EDX, XRD. NDACs their capacity to adsorb AB14 water. nitrogen mass % content in ranged between 17.99 21.43%. NDAC specific surface area, monolayer volume, mesoporous mean pore diameter 281.84 m 2 /g, 64.753 cm 3 2.352 nm, respectively. synthesized with a 21.12% found be best one remove water named as NDAC600. impact solution pH, initial concentration, dosage on NDAC600 tested. pH dependent, optimal elimination being obtained value 1.5 removal efficiency 89.03%. is attributed electrostatic contact positively charged sites anionic dye. perfectly designated using both pseudo-second-order (PSO) Temkin kinetic models. maximum ( Q ) 909.09 mg/g; moreover, process sorption had proven itself an effective, available, green adsorbent may applicable other hazardous pollutants.
